JOIN THE BROOKLYN PICKLEBALL TEAM ROAD TO MINORS (RTM) TOURNAMENT SERIES

Major League Pickleball’s Premier Franchise, Brooklyn Pickleball Team (BKPT), is seeking local male and female athletes to join the Brooklyn Pickleball Team Minor League DUPR 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 Rosters. The Brooklyn Pickleball Team Minor League rosters are a vital part of the franchise’s mission to grow the sport of pickleball at all levels and develop future stars. 

We launched a new tournament series that started this November (7-9) called Road to Minors (RTM), which will run through the end of the 2026 Major League Pickleball (MLP) season. RTM provides a pathway for amateur players to qualify for one of BKPT’s Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) DUPR 12-20 rosters.

Our next RTM Tournament (January 23-25) is now available for registration. The sections are as follows (times subject to change based on section fill rates): 

Friday, January 23rd:

Men's 3.75: 5pm to 730pm

Women's 3.5: 730pm to 10pm

Saturday, January 24th:

Men's 3.5: 8am to 1030am

Women's 3.0: 1030am to 1pm

Men's 4.0: 1pm to 330pm

Women's 4.0+: 330pm to 6pm

Men's 4.5+: 6pm to 9pm

Sunday, January 25th:

Men's 3.0: 8am to 1030am

Mixed 3.5: 1030am to 1pm

Mixed 4.0: 1pm to 330pm

Mixed 3.0: 330pm to 6pm

Mixed 4.5+: 6pm to 9pm 

This tournament will offer sponsored products from brands, which will be available for tournament participants at no charge.

The top performing players (within each DUPR band) during the RTM Series will be awarded a number of benefits:

• Points leaders (top man and woman in each DUPR band) at the end of May 2026 will receive free VIP tickets to the summer MLP event in NYC
• Top 4 Points leaders (both men and women) after the October 2026 RTM event will receive a free registration for BKPT MiLP tryouts for the 26-27 MLP season
• Points leaders (top man and woman in each DUPR band) after the October 2026 RTM event will receive a free 1-year membership to the BKPT MiLP roster regardless of tryout performance. If these individuals make the A-team in their DUPR band, they will receive a $300 travel stipend for MiLP tournaments.

RTM Points will be awarded according the following schedule:

• 8-10 team sections: 1st (100 points), 2nd (70 points), 3rd (40 points), 4th (20 points)
• 6-7 team sections: 1st (70 points), 2nd (40 points), 3rd (20 points)
• 4-5 team sections: 1st (40 points), 2nd (20 points)

To officially join the team, players must complete their membership registration via this form and submit their annual fee here.

💰 Annual Fee Options:
✔ Annual fee of $480 can be paid via lump sum or available installment plan (fee includes all player benefits listed above); 

Once registered, you will gain full access to the team and be able to select from a list of available tournaments throughout the year.

Players will be responsible for their own travel and related expenses
