He comes from an athlete background with many years as a soccer goalie and basketball under his belt. Estephany was born and raised in Costa Rica. She grew up playing competitive soccer, tennis, and table tennis and later played rugby for the University of Notre Dame. She even represented Costa Rica on the national Rugby team. Now based in New York City, she works as a finance manager at a software company and stays active through her passion for pickleball. She’s earned recognition across the local scene—including the Anna Leigh Waters Award in the Cross Club League (Spring 2025) and bringing home the team Championship.
